I walked into the NICU today and this is what I see. She has on baby clothes. It was the best thing to see!!! I had such an awesome rainy day. Got a complimentary haircut and eye brow wax, a surprise package of yummy brownies from my ABWA sisters, a surprise package from a fellow out of state NICU mom that came with all kinds of goodies including a micro preemie hat, mittens and booties. Char is 3lb 5oz now. She will hopefully be off her vent and on a CPAP machine (another type of respirator) this week. That means no tubes in the throat and we'll get to hear her cry. The eye doc came in and so far all he sees are premature eyes.
