One down, one to go

They have removed one of Charlottes chest tubes today.  They are hoping to remove the other tomorrow and then the next goal will be going from the jet ventilator which it makes her chest vibrate, I'm guessing for stimulation.  Not really sure though, there are so many machines, medications, tubes, etc I can't keep up with all the technical stuff.  Once she is removed from that I believe she'll go to a regular ventilator then off!

They have her up to 7cc's of breast milk now, but she isn't tolerating it as well as the 6cc's so for now they are going to keep it the same.  When I say she's not tolerating it well, simply means she isn't digesting it like they would like.  The first 7cc feeding stayed in her belly for like 3 hours with a little bit of it coming back out of her tube.

Yesterday she turned 29 weeks. YAY!!!  35 weeks is coming fast, and while that does not mean she is coming home on that exact week, it puts us that much closer to her coming home.
